An exciting exploration of the beginnings of jazz – from ragtime to Dixie, showtunes to swing. Audiences will be inspired by the sounds of some of the greatest jazz composers of all time, such as George Gershwin and Jelly Roll Morton, and will be tapping their toes to classic favourites The Entertainer, Old Man River, Darktown Strutter’s Ball, and even a Beatles tune or two!
